Anonymous asked: What body makeup do you use during performances? I have mild psoriasis and sometimes have flare ups before a show. Regular make up doesn't seem to work.

I don’t typically use any these days because it’s messy and gets on costumes. However, if it’s necessary in some instances, I’ve always been happy with the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs. It goes on easily and has a really pretty finish. I’m not sure how your psoriasis would react to it, but it’s worth a try

Anonymous asked: Tough Call. Have you ever in the past, or would you ever in the future consider dating someone who takes suppressive medication for hsv (not the cold sore kind) B.) At what point, do you feel (being unaffected), should somebody divulge their positive status to a potential partner (before sex)?

I feel like people need to be open and up front from the get go with their health and especially if those things may affect the health of their partner and their partner’s partners. And so on and so forth. It’s really up to the individual on how they would handle such a situation. Fact of the matter is that 1 out of 4 people have herpes. It’s so common. And if all necessary precautions are being taken, then all you can do is take comfort in knowing that and just go forth and enjoy your partner if that’s what you choose to do. And if you don’t, that is your prerogative as well and no one should be judged for that.

If I could change anything, I would have told her how much I loved her more often. I would have held her face and looked in her eyes and made sure she knew it.

But even with that, I don’t think it would have made it better….and maybe things are just as they should be.

Born This Way

One of my earliest memories of liking girls dates back to daycare. I must have been only about 3 or 4 years old at the time. I don’t remember the name of the daycare girl that I admired but I remember that she was thin and had curly brown hair. I favored her of all the other ones. The other girls were heavy set and smelled funny. But not her. And I remember that she spoiled me and used to sneak me Hershey kisses. One day we were all sitting in the common area and I was sitting on her lap facing her. She was carrying on a conversation with some of the other girls and while she wasn’t paying attention, I unbuttoned her shirt. She finally realized what I had done and just kind looked shocked and then quickly buttoned up her shirt.

I’m pretty sure it was more than curiosity. It was a crush. And even though I didn’t know exactly what I was doing or why, as an adult and looking back on these memories it only further confirms for me that me and plenty of other people in the world were born this way.
